My submission for the 2025 Insights Art Show at Wellington County Museum and Archives in Aboyne near Fergus and Elora. This is a juried show put on by The Elora Fergus Arts Council. I am grateful to the artist jury members for accepting my installation for the their show. This is a trilogy roughly representing birth, life & thought and finally death. My sincere thanks to composer Jeff Collinson for the beautiful closing music he created and performed called "Aurora". This piece is dedicated to my late brother John Harris who passed too early recently. Sculptures were photogrammetric scans from the Guelph Art Museum. The rotating head illusion was created by sculptor Evan Penny. I created a one million polygon scan from 200 pictures taken of this roughly 6' high bronze sculpture in the sculpture garden of Guelph Art Gallery at the University of Guelph, Ontario on Aug 25/2023. The third section also used one million polygon photogrammetry models I scanned and simplified of a stone in our garden and a wonderful sculpture "Standing Man" by George Bartholomew Boileau.
This was shown in portrait mode on an LED screen with stereo sound. Overall dimensions of the piece are ~ 64" high by 24" wide by 24" deep.
